Your Big, Bold, Scary Goals
Robert Louis Stevenson once said, “To be what we are, and to become what we are capable of, is the only end of life.”
This is such a great quote because it brings home why your dream is so important. Your dream is your impetus for you to discover who you really are and just how capable you are.
Think about it, your dream requires you to think in bigger, bolder ways about yourself and life than you ever have before. If your dream is truly a dream, then you must be your best in any given moment. Your dream requires you to bring your very best to the table.
Then, as you think more expansively and entertain bold steps, steps you have never taken before, you discover and develop gifts and talents and strengths that have laid dormant because there has been no demand for them.
As Bob Proctor says, your goals, (your big, bold, scary goals) are not for getting, they are for growing.
Take some time to ponder just who and what you are and what your dream is asking you to become. Post your thoughts here in the comment section or on my Facebook page so you can inspire others.
Here’s to your and your dream life,
P.S. Know someone else who has a dream? By all means, do them a favor and send this to them. They will thank you for it!
