What do you think when you hear the word, “Sacrifice?”
What do you think when you hear the word, “Sacrifice?” Many people think of hardship and deprivation. But what if sacrifice was a key piece to building your dream?
Often times when people think about building their dreams, they think they can “have it all.” The reality is, you can’t have it all.
You can’t be afraid and bold at the same time. You can’t experience love and harbor resentment at the same time. And you can’t keep doing things the way you have done them in the past and expect different results.
There is actually a law called the “Law of Sacrifice.” It says that in order to receive and experience something more expansive, you must be willing to give up anything that is not compatible with the new. You currently do things in a way, think about things in way that created your current level of success but those thoughts and habits won’t take you where you want to go next.
Take some time today to imaginally see yourself living your dream life. Then ask yourself who that man or woman is and how do they live their lives. Think about the kinds of conversations they have and the way they see things. Imagine the kinds of ideas they entertain and the actions they take. Then, examine your current thought and behavior patterns and identify for yourself what you know you need to release, in other words, to sacrifice, so you can move to your next level of evolutionary results.
Share one thought or habit that you are willing to sacrifice in order to make room for your greater good below in the comment section or on my Facebook page to inspire others.
Here’s to living your dream,
Felicia
P.S. Know someone who needs help living their dream? By all means, do them a favor and share this with them.
