What are you grateful for?

What are you grateful for?

How often do you stop during your day to just be grateful for the sake of being grateful?

Most people have been trained to give thanks for something after the fact. In that case, gratitude is an effect rather than a cause.

The Truth is gratitude is the creative energy that causes good things in your life. The more you consciously choose gratitude, the more you access yourself to an unlimited power that then allows you to create anything you desire.

Wallace Wattles, the author of the classic work, The Science of Getting Rich, tells us, “There is a Law of Gratitude, and it is absolutely necessary that you should observe the law, if you are to get the results you seek.” In addition he tells us that gratitude “brings you into perfect unity of mind with God.

We are the only species on our planet that we are aware of that has the ability to cause ourselves to feel a particular way regardless of the facts and conditions. We have the ability to see situations in a positive light, to see the power and presence of Good and of God in all circumstances whether they are your preference or not. Being aware of this unique ability is key to creating a life that we love.

Wattles tells us that the way to increase our gratitude factor is, “To fix your attention on the best is to surround yourself with the best, and to become the best…The grateful mind is constantly fixed upon the best; therefore it tends to become the best, and will receive the best.

The more your practice gratitude, the stronger you become in your ability to magnetize ideas, resources, support and blessings to you in a way that feels like it literally comes from, “Out of the blue.”

Spend time this week intentionally generating gratitude just for the sake of feeling gratitude. Then keep notes on how things shift and transform right before your eyes.

Share the gifts that come to you out of the blue as a result of your increased gratitude practice here in the comment section or on my Facebook page so others can be inspired as well.

Here’s to living your dream,
