Recently, I tried to make a veggie smoothie in my blender. I added all of the ingredients, hit the button and very little happened. The blade was spinning but it was just not chopping up the food. I even mixed it up a bit to try and get things moving. When that didn’t help, I just gave up.
A few days later, I was talking to my mom, explained my blender dilemma and she asked if I added any extra liquid to my mix. She explained that if the blender was not blending, it meant that there was not enough moisture. Sure enough, when I tried it again with mom’s advice and added just a wee bit more liquid, it worked.
I learned two valuable lessons that day. First of all, to stay open to new information that would help me change my perspective. Second, I learned that when I seem stuck, it may only take a small adjustment to the way that I am doing something in order to gain big results.
I invite you to scan your own life. Where have you given up because it seems that nothing was happening? Revisit your desire and pay particular attention to see if you gained new information or insight. Ask the part of you that has access to Infinite Intelligence if there is one small adjustment that you can make that will dramatically change your results. Then do it!
Here’s to small adjustments for big changes!
