Price Pritchett – You2
Price Pritchett, in his classic book You2 opens shares with his readers the time he watched a fly trying to escape through a closed window. He paints a desperate picture of the Fay’s frenzied activity which only added to its doomed fate.
His point is that trying harder is not always the answer. Often, as we advance confidently towards our dreams, unprecedented action is called for. Pritchett says, “‘Trying harder’ isn’t necessarily the solution to achieving more. It may not offer any real promise for getting what you want out of life. Sometimes, in fact, it’s a big part of the problem.”
This week, instead of trying harder with the same actions, look at what you can do differently. What new and innovated, never before attempted action can you take that will completely change the trajectory of your success? Try one new bold action this week and just notice the difference it makes with your results. And remember to have fun all along the way.
Here’s to bold action!
