Now’s the time for love
Hi,
This time next week, we will have a new president in the United States. Many say that this has been one of the most contentious elections held in recent history and many have been turned off by the process.
I have an invitation for all of us. Rather than turning our backs on what seems to be a really difficult and painful process, let’s see it as an opportunity to love more deeply, live more reverently and give more generously.
Course of Miracles says that everything is either an act of love or a call for love.
It is so easy to negatively characterize behaviors and personalities regardless of who we are supporting and we can always find justifications for our characterizations.
But, true spiritual mastery is having the ability to look beyond any behavior and see the essence of who we all really are. This does not mean that we condone unacceptable, destructive behavior, rather we seek to understand rather than to be understood.
And we offer love.
We offer love in the form of kindness, in the form of our willingness to really listen to another we may disagree with, to be willing to see and hear the pain and to ask, “What is mine to do in this situation?”
I believe that every person on this planet has a dream to live life more abundantly. The most powerful way we can bring that dream about is to change our perception from separation to love.
Let’s not wait for our next leader to “fix” things. Let’s all start now by becoming masters of love knowing that as we do, we create the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth.
Here’s to living your dream life,
Felicia
