Keys to Success #1 Based on the work of Napoleon Hill

Keys to Success #1 Based on the work of Napoleon Hill

During the 1920’s, a young reporter by the name of Napoleon Hill took on the heroic endeavor to codify the principles of success. He spent over 20 years interviewing the most successful people in the country, then created a systematic, proven formula that when understood and applied will give you the life you would love living!

Over the next several weeks, I will share some of his principles with you so you too, can begin to experience a much greater degree of wealth and success in your lives.

Hill’s first principle of success is what he calls, “Definiteness of Purpose.” This is when you have a clear picture of what you would love to achieve. It is an idea, a dream, or a vision that you are head over heals in love with and you are willing to dedicate your life to achieving it.

Hill says this, “Definiteness of purpose is the starting point of all achievement…If you know what you want from life, if you are determined to get it to the point that it becomes an obsession, and you back that obsession with continuous effort and sound planning, then you have awakened and developed definiteness of purpose.”

This week, spend time thinking about what is your definiteness of purpose. What is the thing that you would commit your life to? Spend some time with this question and notice how the more defined you get, the more alive you become. Then stayed tuned for success principle #2.

Here’s to knowing what you want!
