Is it THAT Obvious to you?

Hi,

Let me state the obvious. Going for your dream is a risk. We all know that. You hear things like, you have to get out of your comfort zone, you have to be willing to take the leap. You have to be willing to put it on the line. We get that conceptually but I don’t think anyone ever really outlined why and how you would take that risk.

Over the next several weeks, I am sharing several videos to help you understand the anatomy of a risk. I have discovered in my years of helping 1,000’s of people around the world live lives that they love, that there is a formula to risk-taking that I have applied in my life as well.

In this video, I share the fundamental element that is required to really succeed when taking a risk.

The dictionary defines risk as, “A situation involving danger.” When you look at danger, one of the meanings is a situation causing harm or injury or causing something unwanted and unpleasant.

The very nature of your dream, if unsuccessful can cause harm or injury or at the very least, be unpleasant. So, how do you override that instinct to protect?

Let me put it in a nutshell here, you will not REALLY be all in for something in unless you have a BURNING desire for it. You just won’t take a risk for something that only elicits a lukewarm response in you.

So, in order to really take that leap, you have to have something that you are sooooo in love with that you cannot imagine life without it.

Spend time this week really examining your dream. Do you love it enough to jump off of where you are to some unknown risky place? And if not, what does your dream really need to be in order for you to be willing to take that leap.
