How many times have you thought about doing the impossible?

How many times have you thought about doing the impossible?

How many times have you thought about doing the impossible just this day alone?

There is a great line in the classic story, Through the Looking-glass by Lewis Carroll where the Red Queen tells Alice that she thinks about six impossible things before breakfast.

What is your impossible thing? Bring it to mind right now. Let yourself feel the anxiousness and the excitement all at the same time as you imagine the unobtainable.

You just built a little more belief in the impossible. The only reason why something seems out of reach is because you don’t know how to do it. But if you never think about it, you will never know how to do it.

It is the act of imagining the seemingly unreachable that makes real. As you begin to see it in your mind’s eye, you begin to see it as more plausible. The more you mentally rehearse it and seriously consider it, the realer it becomes. At some point, it crosses over into the, “This could actually happen” realm. As that does, you then find yourself hearing different ideas that could move you forward and you become willing to take bold action steps.

Then all of a sudden, your impossible moves from possible to probable to doable to its done!

Share your six impossible things that you thought about before breakfast in the comment section below to inspire everyone.

Here’s to living your dream,

P.S. Do you know of someone else who wants to think about the impossible? By all means, do them a favor and pass this on.
