3x’s The Spiritual Power

3x’s The Spiritual Power

This is such a special time of year. It is the time of spring, which means rebirth and renewal. Hearing the morning doves and the quail in the background as I write this is an indication that spring truly is here.

This is also the time of year when three major traditions celebrate key Holy Days.

As we enter the holy period of transition from winter to spring, let us pause and reflect upon the universal spiritual perspectives that bring together Passover, Easter, and Ramadan.

This special time of the year honors life’s journey, our connection to each other, and to a higher power.

No matter our spiritual path, this time is an invitation to explore what it means to be fully present in your relationship with Life Force Energy however you address It.

From these three great religious traditions come lessons of wisdom and understanding that can help guide us on our shared human mission of discovering peace within ourselves and others.

We can honor Passover by celebrating freedom—freedom from physical bondage that comes with feeling stuck or stagnant in our lives.

We can celebrate Easter by recognizing the beauty of renewal—that through death new life is created again and again; a cycle that reminds us there is always hope for redemption no matter how dire the situation appears.

During Ramadan, we can appreciate its message of self-restraint—not only in abstaining from certain activities but also in exercising patience when tackling challenges in life.

No matter what spiritual path you follow,  this season brings us together, centering us around gratitude for all aspects of life’s journey.

So as we gather around this table might we never forget the “why” behind our faith in something bigger than ourselves – so that we may continue leading lives rooted in love and compassion for ourselves, others and all living beings!
