Self care seems hard?
If you have been on Facebook recently, I am sure that you have noticed the number of people who are sharing about having the flu or just generally feeling under the weather.
As I read those posts, (and have been feeling a bit puny myself) I wonder how many of us are really taking care of ourselves?
What does taking care of you look like for you and what if it could be easy?
Some of the things I do to take care of me, especially when I travel, is to have special tea with me. I take my most comfortable clothes to wear as I am hanging out in the hotel. I have a speaker so I can have soothing music around me and I make sure I talk to people that I love.
Those things may not sound like much, but it is those little acts of love and self care that really make a difference in the way we feel. They are signs of self love.
What are the simple acts of self love you give yourself on regular basis to care for you? Make a list of your top 10, then make a point to give the gift of those simple acts to you on an ongoing, regular basis. Watch how much better you feel as a result.
