Absence of Evidence
Price Pritchett, in his transformative book, “You Squared,” says, “Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.” I want you to ponder that for a few minutes and let the power of this statement really sink in. How many of us depend on what we can see, feel, hear, smell or taste to determine what we believe is possible. Yet, right now, I am on a plane 30,000 feet above the ground communicating with you via invisible waves that are everywhere. Even though I can’t see them does not mean that they are not there.
This week, challenge the conclusions you have drawn based on the evidence you have gathered. Realize that as you (again, in the words of Price Pritchett), “focus constantly on a clear picture of what you want to accomplish, and move toward it confidently, the unseen forces rally to your support.” Know that these invisible forces are conspiring for your success as you learn to depend on them to help you make your next quantum leap.
Here’s to your quantum leap!
