3/4/15 – Weekly Words of Wealth – Your Mornings First Thought

I have a question for you. What was your first thought this morning? Was it, “Oh my God, I have to get up?” Or was it, “Thank you God, I get to get up?”

We get to choose what we think and how we think. And since we have 100% choice over how we spend our days, let’s love our choices.

It may be that the facts of your day don’t necessarily reflect this Truth in this moment, but as you continue to cultivate a vision in which you live a life you love, you realize how important it is to love your choices and your life today.

I love what Wallace Wattles in The Science of Getting Rich says, “Hold with faith and purpose the vision of yourself in a better environment, but act upon your present environment with all your heart,and with all your strength and with all your mind.”

He goes on to say, “It is probable that your actions, at least for some time to come, will be those you have been performing for some time past; but you are to begin now to perform these actions in the Certain Way…” And that Certain Way is to pour love and your full self into your current circumstances.

The more you live your current life fully as you continue to mentally rehearse your dream life, the bigger your belief in what once felt impossible becomes, the more the Invisible Substance responds according to your belief and the more your facts represent a life that you love.

It can be no other way for this is Law!

    i am definitely the woman who, upon waking, says “Thank You for the gorgeous night’s sleep and this fabulous new day I get to be part of. Today I get to live out loud”. i have a routine of gratitude that starts my day, every day. i love my life.

  • Thank you Felicia for this message.  Beginning after our call yesterday I sat down and sketched for 15 minutes and I am doing it again tonight, creating a new habit or as you say, shifting my paradigm. I am also exercising on a daily basis every morning before work. Some of the other things I can do for 15 minutes each day is read art magazines for ideas or inspiration, which I already do, search for galleries to show or look for juried shows to submit my work, and what I mentioned earlier, sketch.  Does this sound like a good plan?

    My first thought this morning was to get up and get those things done for my client that she has requested knowing that it will help her to prepare for the sale of her house. Also I begin to prepare myself by focusing on the time I need to prepare for surgery the following day. I continue to check in as the day runs smoothly not allowing myself to worry about time knowing that I have another stop to make. My second client is grateful that I have made time for her although I am later then planned aware of my surgery. Then when I arrive home thinking that my day is done I receive an emergency call and I choose to ignore it feeling the strain on my confidence that I will be able to make another stop with grace and ease. I stop and consider how important my relationship is with this friend and I choose to help them in the face of my perceived upset. I solve the problem and accept their invitation to stay for dinner. I realize that my choice was a good one and an opportunity to demonstrate to myself and my friends my ability to create possibility where none appeared to exist.

    • Really nicely done Jerry. That is what it is to notice what you are noticing and then choose what you want to feel in that moment. With every thought choice, we create a stronger and stronger new pattern.

    Experiencing computer problems preventing email communication. Seems to be a symptom of my stuck feelings. My newly revived chant is “I deserve to be loved and adored. I love and appreciate myself just as I am, right here and right now.” This is lifting me up! Believing that I can have my dreams is coming along more slowly but I am feeling better about myself.

      Love the statement and this is your Truth and I encourage you to feel it in your being as you say it. There will be a part of you that will want to fight it and resist it. This when you will yourself to keep coming back to Truth over and over again. As you do, it will become your new pattern.
